Hello May!

Hello May!

Wow, we have been back in NY a little over a month now.

We are both working full time now. Gianna has started soccer and Evelina is a rolling queen. My mom watches the babies during the day along with a few other important people in our lives who help us out when we need it! Amazing people, we are truly blessed!

Evelina finally got to meet Lucy, who was so amazed by her hair!

More soccer fun!

Mini 1999 class reunion! haha

Where's Evelina.. ahha

Thank you Mr. Trojan!

Less than a month and we made the paper!

Happy 5 months Evelina and 4 years Bailey!

Happy 5 months to our beautiful Evelina and Happy 4th Birthday to Bailey, our golden retriever!

A beautiful Weekend!

This week we ate mango's with our cereal.. fun times! haha She liked them and meal times have been full of happiness and impatience because we just can't seem to get the food in there fast enough! I made blueberries, strawberry kiwi, kiwi and applesauce for the next two weeks or so. This week she is back to applesauce. I'll be adding some vegetables this week at dinnertime. She loves her food!

Starting to hold her own bottle more now but still needs something covering her face to help her fall asleep- it's usually her hand, a blanket or her green froggie!

It was beautiful this weekend, not nearly as warm as it was in Florida but nice enough to get outside and play. We walked to Gianna's future elementary school and she played on the playground. She has been signed up for pre-k in the fall so hopefully she gets a spot! Finger's crossed!!

Still no cable, but it's Saturday morning Dad- I need my cartoons.. haha

Next up- planning for Gianna's birthday party and camping trips!!
We may be hard on cash (thanks to many greedy factors) but we will get these kids out there to experience things! I'd rather have tons of memories than tons of material items!!

Easter Fun!

Happy Easter!

The bunny was very good to our girl's this year! Gianna got a variety of smaller toys, a few candies and her favorite thing- a small chick that peeps when you hold it. Evelina got a stacking toy and some clothes. Dinner was fantastic, dessert was yummy and the wine went down easy as usual!

Gianna attended three Easter Egg hunts. We had one at our house, one at my friend's house and one held in the city I grew up in. She was so overwhelmed and ran past most of the eggs but did good for the most part. She enjoyed playing with her friends all weekend.

Evelina is enjoying her cereal and fruit. So far she has tried apples and banana's. Next up is kiwi, mango, strawberry and blueberries. I make my own baby food for the most part and freeze them into ice cube trays.

next week... library story time and perhaps a day trip to Old Forge on the weekend!

NY Style

NY Style...

We are slowly settling in and unpacking. The house needed some TLC but with the help of many people, it finally feels like home again! Gianna had just turned two when we moved to Florida so she had never really played in the snow. It snowed a dusting this past Saturday morning so we were out there at 9am head to toe in winter gear, playing and throwing snowballs. It melted about an hour later but it was enough to satisfy her.

Evelina had her first taste of baby cereal and apples this morning and she loved it. She is changing so much, smiling more and holding out her arms when you put yours out to her. She sleeps every night in her crib now and is on a pretty steady schedule. She is trying to sit up and she holds herself up in her swing now for as long as she can. She still fits in some of her 0-3 month clothes but this mommy needs to admit growth and change out her wardrobe before she starts looking rediculous.

The girl's will attend an Easter Egg hunt Saturday April 7 so I'll be sure to post those pictures after!!

Next up- Soccer Season! I'm officially a Soccer Mom!!!
